The wait is over. The latest version of the world’s most loved operating system is here. Microsoft Windows 7 promises to be the best operating system ever. Although, a lot of us were skeptical at first but the beta versions had actually received positive reviews from all over the world. And Microsoft is pretty optimistic about the success of Windows 7.

Until now, Windows 7 was only available to msdn subscribers and university students. Now, with Windows 7 going public everyone can get their hands on it. As beta version testers (like other 8 million people) we can assure you that this is definitely worth it. With Windows XP inching closer to its completion of the decade in operating system market and Windows Vista not living up to the mark, Windows 7 is the future. It would have been better if the guys at Redmond had priced this a little lower but the price does not seem to be much of a problem. As Amazon reports, they have sold more copies of Windows 7 pre-orders in three weeks than the total number of copies of Windows Vista sold in……. am not joking……. full three years. Surprised? It’s actually the biggest pre-order product of all time according to Amazon. You can get it here.

Such is the hype around Windows 7, that Burger King in Japan has come out with a new dish, the Windows 7 Whopper. Its actually priced at ¥1,450 but the first 30 customers get it for ¥777 which is around nine bucks. Ever heard of any food named after a piece of software? Me neither.
